Frequently asked questions
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
Yes. A card is required at signup so your access continues automatically if you decide to keep it. You won't be charged until the 7-day trial ends — cancel any time before then and you pay nothing.
What happens after the trial?
After 7 days, your chosen plan (€34.99/year or €3.49/month) begins automatically. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged anything.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel any time from your account settings — no hoops, no retention flows. If you cancel mid-period, you keep access until the end of that billing cycle.
Are all lessons really free?
Every lesson opens with a free preview — the first rule and its examples — so you can judge the quality before deciding. The full lessons, interactive exercises, vocabulary practice and exam sets need a subscription, which starts with a 7-day free trial.
Which plan should I choose?
Both plans include everything. The yearly plan (€34.99/year) works out to about €2.92/month — saving over 15% compared to the monthly plan. Great if you're committed to learning Dutch.
Is there a student discount?
Not currently. The prices are already set intentionally low — less than a cup of coffee per week — to be accessible to everyone.
